User Defined DataLogging Payloads/snapout dashboard/tracing

BinaryEditor and EEC Analyzer are both packed with awesome features, but if you can think of another cool feature to aide in EEC Tuning or some improvement to an existing feature, cough it up here.

Hello,

I am wondering if there would be a way to add the ability to have user defined payloads for datalogging. I saw this ability in EFILive and HP Tuners when i was watching a Greg Banish DVD. This would be handy to have so instead of having to manually jam the logs through your calculator to determine something like fuel error %, you could have it calculate it automatically after you entered your formula and selected what payloads you wanted to use for the calculation, then you would only have to write down the error % and apply the correction quicker.

Also, having a snapout dashboard so you can still see selected payloads in the tuner screen so you dont have to flip back and forth. This would be nice for the above request. Having the fuel error % automatically calculated and displayed so you can look at the maf transfer and know what points to hold at, and what the error % is at that point.

Finally, I know you can "follow the bouncing ball" for tables, but what about adding that ability to functions, Mainly for the maf transfer. Can make it easier to see what maf point your holding if the second item above cant be done.

You might be preaching to the converted, it is one C Garrity that must be convinced.

Presently only one PID can have a formula applied. Your excellent suggestion requires at least two PID's as input to a formula.

in tunerpro i have a fuel error gauge on the realtime tuning view, no need in calculating anything just simply look at the gauge in realtime, it doesn't get any easier than that

I do like tunerpro, but I'm hoping for improvements to BE. I use both and like both so it would be nice to be able to have similar features in both. Our at least compared to other commercial software out there
