Injector Slope High/Low
I have 160 lb/hr injector but can't run them because the BE software has me limited in the injector slopes to 112. Is there a way to increase this number?

That's alot of fuel!!! I believe you will need to do some scaling to use them under the 112 cap.

yeah, I agree, that is why I am wondering why there is a cap. Why can't it be say 200? Basically now if I run E98 with a stoich of 9.0 I believe I can us them. Because the E98 uses roughly 62% more fuel. My old injectors were 60's and I used a 50 high slope to bring my afr in to 11.6. Now I switched the turbo and it flows a lot more air and want to turn up boost is the reason for bigger injectors. But I also want to run pump gas because E98 is about 7.50/gal. and Pump E85 only E70 most places around where I live. And E70 uses roughly 137% more fuel which puts me out of the cap. Besides I would like to make 93 octane tune which is E10 here. And when I turn up the power I want to run C16. Or I'm tuning wrong and need to do more research and educating myself on this. But this worked fine with the smaller turbo and 60lb injectors. I'm open to suggestions or comments that can point me in the right direction. Thanks

The cap is just a function of the raw code, the value you see has gone through a conversion to represent a familiar number.
When I mentioned scaling...I was referring to fitting your Injectors into the defined parameters. Scaling airflow. The problem is you need to know how far to go and in your case the required Injector slopes determain it. You also need to know how far up the MAF curve you think your going to go. You are limited to I think 2350kg/hr. If you think you will be going above that you will need to account for it also.
So the just of it is you take the cap say it's 100 divide by your Injector size 160 you end up with a Multiplier of 0.625. Inset 100 for your slope but use the multiplier on the Breakpoint and MAF Transfer. There are a few other places to apply the Multiplier such as Sarchrg but most of them escape me at the moment...I sure a search will turn it up. Now remember this is a simplified example .....if you wanted to give yourself tuning headroom for the Low Slope you could apply any percentage as a Multiplier as long as you understand the tune will say for example you are using 80lb injectors but your scaling will allow the engine to run the same as being able to input 160.

You can purchase a MAF calibrated for your 160's and you wont have to mess with the slopes that much or scale your tune..

Hey Ed.....I agree that it would take care of the slope issue depending on how he wants to use the car such as drag racing only....it may be fine.
I've never delt with a situation I needed to squeeze 7000+ kg/hr of air into 30 data points over 5 volts so I can only imagine how it might be really twitchy. Even a tiny bit of noise is going to effect the reading. I personally think he would benefit more by having a MAF calibration based on required airflow with a little headroom then ratio the factory slopes/ Breakpoint to compensate for Injector size above the actual MAF calibration.
Lol....ya I know it accomplishes the exact same thing you stated. I only bring up an alternative because my experience in instrumentation leads me to believe a 160 calibration is going to make it pain even if he actually needs it.......and I'm bored at work today lol.

My pro-m 92 is calibrated for my 80s and I use the stock 19# fuel settings and maf transfer with just a few tweaks. It's actually quite easy when the meter is calibrated properly. I prefer the simplicity in this configuration for my needs and makes tuning sooooo much easier for me and less to think about. My next step will be to swap out the 80s for 160's and recalibrate the meter soon. There is a lot less signal noise in a draw through vs blow through set up.
