feedback spark a9l

i have been trying to get feedback spark working on an a9l, it seems like there is something i am overlooking.

idle speed control flag is always -1 when closed throttle, there must be a setting i am unaware of keeping this in dashpot mode.
i am trying to get idle timing by delta rpm working to help out on a bigger cam. i even went back to factory tune with just changes for maf, missing hardware and injectors.

one thing i noticed is that iscflag will go to 1 at startup only, if the throttle is touched it goes to -1 never to come back

I just looked at the hardware only tune and datalog. You are stuck in dashpot mode because idle air is not dialed in. You can either dial in the idle air tables or go with mechanical idle.

The datalog shows in gear at one point. Is this an auto or manual trans?

it is a manual trans. i have tried many things, set idle screw toill it is at target, adjust tb air flow, idle air mass in neutral etc. it never seems to go into idle spark feedback except at first startup, if anything is touched throttle, clutch drag, a bit of rpm change it gets knocked out. i curbed the origional tune at this point and started fresh from stock. i have been trying to dial in idle air but being in constant dashpot mode even if dashpot = 0 makes it a moot point. i have to get to a stable normal idle first.

Try changing TRLOAD=0 no clutch or gear switches(forced neutral state)
