How to adjust Ymax value for MAF range in BE?

Anything about Ford EEC tuning. TwEECer and Moates questions dominate, but there's some SCT and OBD-II knowledge too.

How to adjust Ymax value for MAF range in BE?

I have a high flow MAF that is rated as 2352 Kg/hr at 5.0v +. I've put my transfer function values in but the max flow values are still below what my MAF is rated for. Where do I go to adjust this value?

ECU is clipped the maximum value. Scale your displacement and injectors instead
1990 Ford Ranger FLH2 conversion. Ford forged/dished pistons, Total Seal file-fit rings, Clevite rod and main bearings, Clevite cam bearings, IHI turbo, Siemens Deka 60lb/hr injectors, Ford slot MAF in custom 3" housing. Moates Quarterhorse with Binary Editor, using the PAAD6 database.

Are these my scaling steps or is there more to do:


1. Scale engine displacement
2. Scale injector low slope (ALOSL)
3. Scale injector high slope (AHISL)
4. Scale FUEL_BRKPT (FN389)
5. Scale MAF transfer functions (FN036)
6. Scale FN1358 (all cells in bottom 3 rows)
7. Scale FN1036A (all cells)

I am struggling to understand the changes I need to make to spark table or perload! Is there anyone willing to provide a simple description?

Looks correct, and you don't have to touch the tables.. by rescaling, you are adjusting how the computer calculates load. You can adjust it until the load numbers follow something recognizable and it will still correlate to the tables correctly.
