Stock values for CTBAE

Anything about Ford EEC tuning. TwEECer and Moates questions dominate, but there's some SCT and OBD-II knowledge too.

Post by daet1234 » Mon Mar 14, 2016 1:12 pm

If anyone has a stock CTBAE (5.0 Explorer) bin, I sure could use some info:

Injector high/low/bkpt (ALOSL,AHISL,FUEL_BKPT)
Borderline spark table (FN 2200)
MAF transfer (FN 036)
load scaling (FN 035)
Crank PW (FN 348A)

Thanks in advance.

Thanks again for all the replies. I have got it running so much better now. It feels more stable and it smells leaner (I learned from older mechanics).

The only thing I wasn't able to understand was the borderline spark table. I am not sure if I need to scale to 200 or calculate linearly.

the borderline spark table has quite a few a multipliers the values itself is absolutely useless, a value of 60 could return less spark than a value of 10 it just depends on the multipliers, thats why i didnt post it

I see; still learning. I was still trying to get some sort of baseline. So with the other information, this is where I start.

That MAF transfer was driving me nuts! Alright, back to the grind.

if you follow the instructions in the zxa5 your timing will be taken care of

with timing simplified such as in the zxa5 your borderline spark table will be the actual spark you receive, if you plug in 50 you will get 50 unlike all stock tunes
