Anything about Ford EEC tuning. TwEECer and Moates questions dominate, but there's some SCT and OBD-II knowledge too.

I can see a binary file and a text file. However I couldn't open the text file. Can you re-rar the file with the content in "simpler" folders? There's international characters in the folder names which don't play well.

The BIN does look like a 224k image of some kind.

This is the only useful info in the txt file:

Code: Select all

HW: 97KBDB
SW: AQAE6LZ.HEX
(deleted text that wasn't useful)
Installation: ECC-V 112K
I don't know that any of this is useful either. But this might be meaningful to some of the other bin hackers here on the site to determine what strategy and EEC this is.

What's odd is the bin looks like a 224k bin based on the size, but this file indicates its 112k.

It is a 2 bank bin with extra padding up to 4 bank size.

Looks to be valid.

The question is not who can calibrate it, but who has a definition for it.

It needs to be disassembled, understood and a definition created for it.

A definition is basically an index to the addresses of the tuning parameters.

Disassembly and definition creation is a time consuming process, and therefore costly for a one off.

The source code is to build your own exe.
The build could be as is or you could change the source for some reason then build.

SAD4.07.14 preview is only available as source to build yourself because it is a very experimental.

dpc boxes have a different processor, so no these disassemblers will not work on those.

i did try it for a laugh it didn't of course work.

i'm learning as i go , i wanted to dump the info from the intel 8061 , via the j3 so far its abit annoying hard. id hoped at least 1 of my 4 programmers would attempt to read it. but nope.

hopefully the moates i have bought can allow me to dump the bin.so i can look at it
