Hey guys, been a while. Hope everyone is doing alright.
Car was dialed and running great, had some sluggish hego behavior and wanted to replace them, they were 4 years old. I discovered the DY606 (bosch) hego is no longer available. I tried the aftermarket Bosch hegos and they literally died in weeks.
Bought the DY605 (NGK I think?) supposedly direct replacement for DY606 and installed them.
Now my AFR gauge reads lean 17 at idle, and KAMRFs are pulling fuel and commanded AFR is around 15. Adjusted the lower MAF and it just doesn't seem normal.
At driving speeds AFR is stoic and normal, this issue is only at idle
Is it possible the behavior of these Hegos are different? They are supposed to be direct replacements.
Here is what I've tried so far:
I set bias to all zero with no improvement.
I tried a rich bias at idle but not much improvement.
I was going to try raising the hego switch point up from .423
Any help or ideas would be appreciated.
