Anything about Ford EEC tuning. TwEECer and Moates questions dominate, but there's some SCT and OBD-II knowledge too.

Can shifting maps be edited in EEC-V?

Post by bridgetkeble » Tue Aug 06, 2024 3:00 am

Hi folks

I have a question, have EEC-V editable shifting maps, or is it somewhere in depth of firmware and cannot be accessed ?

Everything is editable in the firmware so long as a complete definition has been developed for the catchcode you have, or you are prepared to develop one . Along with a definition, associated hardware and software will be needed as well.

jsa answered your question. But I suspect you were hoping for a bit more. But more info would need to be known about what EEC catch code you are working with.

If your EEC has support, then we'd direct you to that. Some EEC strategies have multiple developers supporting them. But since we don't know what EEC you are working with, that's the best answer that could be given.
