looking for some help in my tuning journey. I have a 2007 Ford Crown Victoria pretty modifed that im having a hard time tuning. after several years of putting it off im back at it. Car mods are: bbk equal lenght shorties, edelbrock victor jr intake manifold
(efi),1/2in spacers on the throttle body and plenum, 400lph fuel pump,egr still present, and cats deleted. currently using hp tuners to tune the vehicle. I made a base map for the intake manifold as its almost 3/4 the size of the factory one. changed manifold volume from 9.20l to 3.5l. car drives really good now so i went ahead and changed idle airflow (park/drive), along with rear o2 delete and turned off the rear o2 heaters and thats about it. idles good, cold start is really rich 10.00 for about 5 minutes then goes to 14.3. drives and cruise at 14.3 wot drops to 10.3 and picks up to 12.5. ive driven 150 miles and no check engine light? last revisions the check engine light would come on after 60 miles for running rich. emissions is still on as well as egr but no check engine light for cats?so not sure if the manifold changes helped it but 150 miles in and its driving decent. now what else can i change to help with idle at cold start so it doesnt dump so much fuel. also want to fine the manifold alot better. no manufacture info is available for the intake manifold so just seeing what changes the car likes and going from there. any help is appreciated. i have logs and previous files ive used.
