Anything about Ford EEC tuning. TwEECer and Moates questions dominate, but there's some SCT and OBD-II knowledge too.

suggestion: list of what processors came with what car.

Post by Anaconda » Fri Jan 03, 2003 8:28 pm

Any chance in the FAQ area we could list every EEC-IV processor (like A9L) and what type of car it came in, and what year?

I'm not sure that list is quite correct. It has T4MO for a 94-94 Vert. but I have the T4MO and my car is not a vert.

Ford Gen 1 Lightning EEC's

Post by moonshine » Wed Apr 09, 2003 2:49 pm

Here is a list of EEC's catch codes for Gen1 lightnings

The computer model can be found in the driver side door jamb. Just open your door, and look left of the headlight knob. It is a sticker placed on the metal.

C3P1's are found only on 1993s.
C3P2's are found in late 1993s, and 1994s.
C3P3's are found only in 1994s.
ICY1's are found in late 1994s and 1995 trucks.

Note: If you have a Pro-M 77 mm Mass Air conversion, check for the catch code in the add-on Pro-M box where the additional EEC is contained. It should be 89-93 5.0 Mustang SFI 5-speed EEC. I have heard them being A9L, A9P, A3M, A3M1 (mine) so far.

A9T

Post by gastonglock » Sun Dec 07, 2003 8:56 pm

The A9T is part of the A9M family of processors. This would be 5.0L EEC-IV, MAF, automatic transmission cars from 88-93 model mustangs.
A9M family includes:
A9T
A9P
C3W
C3W1
