Anything about Ford EEC tuning. TwEECer and Moates questions dominate, but there's some SCT and OBD-II knowledge too.

Sealevel Load Scaling Vs. RPM for SC

Post by JONESGT » Mon Feb 06, 2006 10:49 pm

Does anyone have any suggestions on what values I should use for the values in the Sealevel Load Scaling Vs. Rpm Function for my setup. I know the entire load curve needs to be scaled up due to the increased loads seen from the SC. Just not sure how much.

This function should represent the revised volumetric efficiency of your engine. Sorry, my curve is for a twin screw blower, though. It would probably really screw your tune up. Perhaps someone with a similar combo's will work better.

Yea that is kinda what I was hoping for when I wrote this post. I would think that there is sombody out there that has a Procharger SC1 on a 306 CI engine.

Someone I know with a 9psi SC 306 setup uses:

0.2, 0.3, 0.5, 0.7, 0.9. 1.1, 1.3 and 1.5 for load scaling on an A9L.

YMMV, Don

Hey, thanks for the response and the info. I'll give those numbers a try.

You can also run EEC Analyzer against your datalogs and fine tune it to your exact setup.

I second this. EA is how I calculated that data on my procharged 5.0. I seem to remember mine scaling up past 150% though.
