Shoutout to Adam at Popsracing

Post by Maui » Sun Mar 24, 2013 4:33 pm

Last September Adam tried to do a remote tune on my 408 stroker. We could hardly be further apart, NY and Oregon. We were having lots of technical issues with the QH. It kept disconnecting and would not datalog. To make things worse my cell phone kept disconnecting. After spending the better part of day we ended up giving up for the day and I contacted Craig at Moates. Craig replaced my QH at no cost, but I lost interest and put the stock maf, injectors and stock tune back in so I could drive it. Well, I got the bug again a couple weeks ago, but felt like too much time had elapsed to bug Adam about the tune. After replacing the QH I decided to contact him and being the professional he is he took my engine specs and sent me a replacement tune to match all the upgrades. We spent about 45 minutes on the phone discussing the set up. The truck fired right up and after a couple minutes it settled in and the change is nothing short of remarkable. The motor just purrs like a kitten and the power increase is astounding!

Thanks a million Adam, you are in an elite class of tuners, a gentleman and a scholar! I would highly recommend Adam to anyone.

That's our Adam! Only 45 minutes on the phone though? My cell phone's usually about ready to melt in half by the time we're done chatting!

Another shout out to Adam at Pops Racing from here in Alberta. In the early stages of my maf conversion, there were too many problems to list, most of them related to my conversion kit, and others. His patience with this could not be appreciated more. The same can be said for Craig and Dave at Moates and Clint at BE.
