Re: Anyone near Lincoln NE?

Im gonna guess no, ive got a base tune and its running a little rich, im very green in the tuning on this setup so im assuming you don't have to go through every tuning folder to tune these so my question is in Binary editor what are the areas that you go into to dial in a tune? I understand that it wont be perfect but I need a few places to get started dialing this in. From what im reading the fuel injector low slope is one area (afraid to go to far with this because I read it should be close to the high slope as possible), and maf table (not really sure what to do in this area), any help would be great

Simply put, maybe :)

MAF measures air and basically lets the eec figure out how much fuel it thinks the engine needs. (it's an input)

High and low slopes, fuel breakpoint, and injector offset vs voltage, are parameters that the eec uses to determine how to provide what it needs.

Dialing in fuel is adjusting the set so the eec gets it's fuel calculation correct. If it's off, it self corrects and stores the correction in the KAMRF's A learned 1 in the KAMRF means it calculated perfectly with no needed correction. Logging those values shows you how far off you maybe and where (in closed loop mode)

so I took the car out to change a few things and seems like changing the injector slope does nothing for just crusing around? KAMRF's seem to stay around .88-.92 (.88 when giving it gas and .92 when idling). lamse vs wideband numbers vary by a full point (sometimes more sometimes less). When graphing im trying to see how bat volt and injector offset is going to work together but as I see it the volts move very little (.5v) so not sure how changing the entire graph will help except in a very short range?

also when I go to wot the load level is only reaching about 95% and this is a forced induction car so im guessing that number should be much higher or am I wrong?

load can be anywhere dependa on the scaling

read the airflow scaling write up
