I'm just returning and I need to get (re)started tuning

Post by MaddMartigan » Fri Jul 18, 2014 8:27 pm

I bought the Quarterhorse for my 93 T-bird (94 Mustang) that is pretty significantly modified. I had switched the car over to T4M0 SN95 ECU when I ran the Tweecer RT a several years ago. Life happened and I moved after building a new house and, after getting AEM ECU on the cheap and trying for a short time to get it working, I abandoned it and the car has essentially sat in the garage for the last 6+ years. I had unsuccessfully attempted to convert the car to MAP from MAF but I didn't prune away what I needed to return to MAF. So, I essentially have everything reconnected except the ECU and the QH unit and I need to get the car running.

So, if I provide the specs for what I have in the car is there anyone that would be willing to help me relearn all of the things that I had learned before and get me a base tune to get the car at least started?

decipha may be willing to help you out. He's a big T-bird fan so he might be able to help you out.

Don't think of it as a T-Bird. Think of it as a 94-95 Mustang.

Should I just post a thread in the tech forum(s) and be more specific?
