will tweecer read diablo chips

Post by dynoman » Thu May 08, 2003 2:27 pm

I am going to purchase a Tweecer but the only place I can find it in stock is V8 Mustang Performance. Tweecer's website says they will read your chip and make the format readable to input into the tweecer for free if you purchase a tweecer. Does anybody know if they will do this for free if I purchase a tweecer from one of their authorized dealers.
I already have a fairly descent setup on my diablo chip and don't want to start from scratch.

Sure will, just send the chip & $5 for return shipping along with contact info and return shipping info. Ship it to the address on our website.

two more questions:
Can I just email them the bin file which was burned on my diablo chip? That way they can just email me back a Tweecer bin file. (Save on shipping and quicker response)

Do I have to show proof of purchase for my Tweecer from V8 Mustangs Performance?

Thanks for the quick response

Yes, we can de-cipher the diablo files (at least so far) and yes, we need proof of purchase from Ben @ V8....

AWSOME:

I just ordered my TweecerRT: I will email you my Diablo bin to Info@tweecer.com when I recieve my Tweecer from v8... What do I need to send you from v8... for proof of purchase, or will you contact them directly?

PS:
I was wondering about the support of these things but it seems to be pretty good. You guys respond pretty quickly to this website. Boy am I going to be lost. I've been doing a lot of reading on this forum and there is quite a learning curve for this system. Any recommendations on where to start for the BASICS for tuning one of these things. A9L computer
