what strategy is joyo? I thought the bronco's are either cbaz0 or ahac strategy both of which are well broken out

in any case i wouldn't go with the guf ecu, if your going to swap ecu's at least go with something newer, even a cbaza from a 94-95 mustang would be an improvement, so much more control

in the XLS file the JOY0 calibration shows a XXX for a stratagy.. I do know the bronco is speed density.. guess the trucks didn't go MAF till 96?

on a side note: i just got a call from a buddy of a buddy asking to see if i would tune his blown 94-95 GT.. I have never played with those.. time to get my feet wet.. i do recall everyone running from that era PCM.. guess times have changed.. is Popsracing the def/template to use?

yeah times have changed, now that more people have the ability to reprogram them they are more desireable

a def and a template are two different things, a def file is either an xls or a cry file that correlates memory locations and values to more conventional values

a template is just a txt file with calibration values that overwrite your current calibration values, such as injector values or maf transfers

popsracing offers strategy files for almost all 80s-2004+ fords, they offer 1 of the 3 cbaza definition files too

Post the JOY0 bin up, someone may recognise the strategy it uses.

I don't have immediate access to that Bronco. the guy is like 2 hours away. The guy installed a 340hp crate 302.. which has a Alphabet cam in it and he swapped in some 24lbs.. needless to say it runs like poo.. I had forewarned that its either going to need a PCM swap and repining or stock cam and injectors put back in..

19s aren't going to support 340hp, neither will 24s

he'll need at least 30s, might as well go 80s
