help with strategy building

This is where the BIN Hackers and definition junkies discuss the inner workings of the EEC code and hardware. General tuning questions do not go here. Only technical/hardware-specific/code questions and discussions belong here.

help with strategy building

Post by jeeptech77 » Sun Apr 22, 2018 6:14 pm

can anyone tell me if the information in binary editor help guide is up to date?
it says a strategy file needs to be saved in word 2003-2007 i have word 2016 and cannot find word that old
im saving in xlxs format but i am constantly getting errors
i can copy and paste a working strategy and still get errors like Tables ? details failed to enable constraints. one or more rows contain values violating non null, unique, or foreign-key constraints

any advice would be appreciated

Yes the help file is up to date.

Xlsx format works. I use excel 2010 without issue.

Cell format must be Text

Do not use 'clear contents' to empty a cell as it causes issues. Use delete or backspace.

You might need to download a format converter pack from MS for older file formats.

Edit: There is a template in the BE install folders you could use as a starting point.
