New to site using QH/BE/EA

Post by ThunderPony » Thu Oct 06, 2011 8:12 am

:soapbox: Hi everyone is this the right place to intorduce myself. First off I drive a modified 93 Mustang LX convertible. This is my second attempt at a turbo mod. I seem to recently specialize in the distruction of L4 blocks. This is my second post. This is a big site. I've been using Quarterhorse from the beginning, along with BE/EA. I'm a retired Aircraft Mech and inspector with 40 years of wrenching. I don't buy new cars, and everyone seems to think that I enjoy fixin beaters. I just could not afford the new one's. In my past I have had mostly Fords. My car goal for now is to try to get an SN95 convertible. I don't need a lot of power, so I want just a V6. I have owned both a 96 and a 98 Mustang, but they were not convertibles. My 93 came from the Nav/Cal boarder and unlike what was available here in MI, it has no rust. From the start I had planned to make the car a turbo. I did not like the VAM and wanted the car to stay a MAF car. I originally used EEC-Tuner, but before I could learn to use that good, I was inticed with QH, BE/EA. I probably should have joined this site years ago. At any rate here I am.

In my first post http://www.eectuning.org/forums/viewtop ... =2&t=18550 I'm a little disappointed. A lot of people read it, but no replys. Perhaps it's posted in the wrong area or something else. Perhaps someone will tell me if that is the case. One of the reasons that I came to this site is that I want to learn how to use the software better, and also learn how to tune my engine as well as I can. I datalog nearly every day and make adjustments.

Anyway I hope to get a reply someday.

So here I am.

Welcome ThunderPony, I only get on here about once a week and I am reasonably new myself. I only visit the "Tuning the EEC" forum mostly so sometimes new threads in other areas can go unnoticed accidentally. Hope to see more of you.
