Anything about Ford EEC tuning. TwEECer and Moates questions dominate, but there's some SCT and OBD-II knowledge too.

No AFR reading, Green light on in BE

Post by Falconstein » Thu Aug 23, 2012 1:57 pm

I have Lc-1, dataQ di148, BE, Moates QH. I had this working with my Tweecer/Caledit about five years ago. same laptop. BE, at the bottom of dashboard, green light is on, but no data. in the status at the bottom "dataq not connected" I've been searching for answers for 3 hours on here. DataQ website doesn't even list this anymore

Yeah, I remember spinning looking on their website for DI-148 drivers and remember having trouble. So once I found it, I put a link to it in the FAQ. Here's the link to DI148:

Thanks, but... The directions for the DataQ said to remove the old and run the new. all good so far. loaded up BE with green light on, , With DataQ unchecked in hardware data logs good except for AFR. DataQ checked, start log, it sits blank for a bit and then gives a snapshot with AFR 0.00, logging has stopped, hit start , all blank except for INJ DC 0, DataQ software sees and records logs. I tried this seperately
is it really this hard??

On the subject of DataQ AFR, BE has a scale of 0-5v with ratio's 10-20, however my innovate manual says, 0-5v with raios 7.35-22.39. Do I rescale?

plug in the USB from DataQ, after you get the green DataQ light on , on the dashboard. you go to device manager in windows and have to see what "COM" windows it put the DataQ on. then put that com number in on the DataQ hardware settings. And yes you need to rescale the transfer.
