Anything about Ford EEC tuning. TwEECer and Moates questions dominate, but there's some SCT and OBD-II knowledge too.

I have found:

MAF XFER (easy to find)
4 or 5 normalizing functions
maybe WOT Fuel multiplier (questionable)
Something tha looks like open_loop_load

No scalars
no tables

This is with limited time spent -- we need about 40 parameters to make it useable. I wont look at it again for at least 2 weeks...gotta get ready for FFW Houston.

Focus Update

Post by 93notch » Wed Aug 13, 2003 9:48 pm

Hey Guys,

Well I forced myself to spend about 8hrs (straight ) on the FVV7 processor. I have found:

MAF Transfer
WOT Fuel Multiplier
Open_Loop_load_limits
RPM Normalizer
ECT/ACT Normalizer
Load Normalizer
TPS Normalizer
Borderline spark
Altitude spark
base fuel table
stabilized OL fuel

I need to find 7 more tables, 4 functions and about 2 dozen scalars and it will be useful for most power tuning -- drivability is a whole other subject. Also, I need to know what the stock injector size is and the stock rev limiter so I can find these puppies.

*** ATTENTION ***

I need a local Focus with an FVV7 or FVV9 processor to test on, so if any of you know of someone in the Houston area who can come to my house for about 4 hours, it would be very helpful.
Best regards,

Mike Glover

The rev limit is 5750 and the injectors are 16lbs I think.

I linked to this page in the texas forum of focaljet for ya. Hopefully someone can test it!

the stock injectors are 19s

the rev limiter is set to 6850 .. this might vary on auto applications.

Finally have Focus support

Post by 93notch » Wed Jan 05, 2005 9:18 pm

If anyone is still watching this thread -- (yeah right) -- we have finally got base support for 2000 - 2002 and possibly more. I dont have a complete EEC to year model map.

We will being selling these once we finish the RT support. That said, I need at least one (two if possible) person to purchase and do some brief testing of the RT function when ready. Just to verify and email me some log files.

anyone.....beuhler?
