01 Cobra EEC - will it work w/TwEECer?

Post by itlkick » Mon Jun 16, 2003 4:43 pm

I looked through archives and at the tweecer web site. It shows the 01-02 Mustangs (non-RT) but does not show anything about the Cobra. Anyone know for sure?

If so does anyone have a .bin so I can start playing with it before the tweecer shows up?

Also, does anyone have a MAF table for the 03 Cobra MAF?

Thanks!

John, I ran one in my 01 Cobra, and there's one or two other guys on here too.
Thanks,

Doing some research I have found a binary for the 01 Cobra (MSE3.bin).

I have also found a reference that the 01 cobra uses the EEC strategy of RVAFA.

So, two questions.
1 - does this sound right?
2 - how the heck are you supposed to know what strategy a given EEC uses?

Works great on a 01 Cobra :)

Open the MSE3.bin and the Strategy will pop-up..

That is my problem - when I open mse3.bin it does not change the strategy. It just stays at whatever I had previously selected.

What bin or ECU family would my 97 cobra ECU be?? I know it is a EEC-V. The tag says CCA1 as the ECU model. do I use T4mo, etc etc??? I will be VERY short on time to get this thing at least drivable. (2 nights) So a basic load with PATS disable and rear O2 disable is needed. My twEECer RT arrives tomorrow...

Can anyone help?? I would think it would be best to read EEC then save that base file and start twEECing!!??

You guys with 96 and newer EEC V's don't use A9-anything, or T4M0, or J4J1 or ZA0, or... Okay, so I don't know what you use, but you don't use any of our EEC IV binaries, that's for sure

heh gee thanks! :-P

I went to the DL page on the main site to get the install files and found they had the CCA1 BIN posted, so I grabbed that, it should tell me everything I need to know.. I hope..

When you load the CCA1 binary file it should pop up the CDAN4 strategy.
