Can anyone confirm or correct the addresses to log the following functions in CBAZA. They dont seem to be logging the correct data from what I can tell. TOT is showing changes even though I have a 5 speed car and no sensor hooked to the input? I am looking at setting up TOT as an analog input for my wide band but I expected to see it show 0 with nothing hooked to it yet? Fstat seems to never change at all and Flag 4 changes with Hego switches.
TOT (Trans. Oil Temp) - 0x0250 16bit
FSTAT (Fan Status) - 0x0049 16bit
Flag4 (Hego Warm) - 0x00EF 8bit

Are you using the CBAZA.xls definition?

Re: Confirm a few CBAZA Datalog Locations
I am using a definition file that I have been updating that was based on the free XLS file when created. My goal is to have an open source definition file that is functionally close to the .CRY. Keep in mind, I am doing all of this in TunerPro 5.0, but the definition could pretty easily be converted back to an XLS for BE when I am finished with it.vristang wrote:Are you using the CBAZA.xls definition?
Anyway, I did some testing tonight and I was able to confirm two of the addresses, it turns out that they need a slight adjustment in the patch code to work right when logged.
FSTAT (Fan Status) - 0x0049 16bit - Confirmed
Flag4 (Hego Warm) - 0x00EF 8bit - Confirmed
That leaves the TOT sensor, still bouncing between 133 and 167 degrees, even though there is no sensor hooked to it, anyone here ever log TOT on a CBAZA system to confirm this address? Guess I may have to just hook a signal up to it an look for the signal to find it.

i've seen the tot fluctuation on stock 5spds before so i would just disregard it, i use derek's cbaza def so i know its correct
in all honesty, for the few bucks it cost to get the full def you'd save yourself a bunch of headaches

Hmmm, is the EEC hardware any different on the 5 speed CBAZA? I fed 5 volts into the TOT signal line and it didnt change things at all. I am trying to set it up to log a wide band since the EGR is already in use for the MAP sensor.decipha wrote:i've seen the tot fluctuation on stock 5spds before so i would just disregard it, i use derek's cbaza def so i know its correct

Would I be able to calibrate the TOT signal to convert to A/F with Derek's file and BE?
Re: Confirm a few CBAZA Datalog Locations
Probably not.TwistedTwins wrote:Would I be able to calibrate the TOT signal to convert to A/F with Derek's file and BE?
I believe the address for TOT is correct, but TOT is a processed and filtered value, and likely that processing may be dependent on the ECU knowing it has an automatic.
If you have an Innovate LC-1, you can log that through it's serial connection more accurately with BE.

Good point, I was actually thinking of uploading an automatic CBAZA calibration to see if things look different, I will do that tonight and see how it looks.mpaton wrote: I believe the address for TOT is correct, but TOT is a processed and filtered value, and likely that processing may be dependent on the ECU knowing it has an automatic.
If it turns out to be hardware related I may try to grab a W4H0 or a U4P0 and upload a T4M0 bin to it.

Re: Confirm a few CBAZA Datalog Locations
Today I uploaded a U4P0 bin and did another test log, the TOT did the same thing it does with T4M0 - just bounces between a couple of values. Anyone out there with a 5 speed CBAZA car want to volunteer to do a quick log of the TOT and post the log for comparison?mpaton wrote:I believe the address for TOT is correct, but TOT is a processed and filtered value, and likely that processing may be dependent on the ECU knowing it has an automatic.
