software update question

Post by TRBOGT » Fri May 11, 2018 7:15 pm

Its been a long time since I have updated BE software. I'm running Version 2012 Build 26. I may have to do some tuning this weekend and I was wondering if I need to update the program before I start. Last I remember my datalog was freezing up. I'm not crazy about updating software unless its absolutely necessary. will the update fix the datalog from crashing ?Thanks

It is pin the tail on the donkey.

Back up your BE install directory, then upgrade. If it goes south restore the backup.
Cheers
