another update disaster

Post by fox bodies rule » Mon Jul 29, 2019 9:29 pm

So when the latest revision for BE came out it no longer recognized my DataQ because it was older and no longer supported, I went back to BE 2012. Now I updated EEC Analyzer and now it doesn't recognize my older DataQ data anymore. With all of that venting done, my issue is I need an older copy of EEC Analyzer, pre this latest update or two or three. Can one of you fine folks that didn't get sucker punched by the latest and greatest update send an older version to me as an attachment or a PM so I can kill 5.8.0.0 and get on with my life? Thank you! :x

Why not just update all to current instead so you can take advantage of current functionality? Have you tried system restore?

EDS50-quite frankly no one has yet to show me any reason to upgrade. Every time I try it's more money down the drain (tweecer to QH for instance). If I added it all up I could have bought a robust PnP stand alone replacement compute and software package and still be money ahead. I'm more than open to input as to why things have improved enough to warrant upgrading but so far for me it's just more money for doubtful value. Sorry for the rant, I know you're trying to help me.

I would say one reason to upgrade is to eliminate the trouble you are experiencing now. Things dont stay the same forever. Its like saying beer is a waste of time and money only to piss it out yet we drink it....lol
