02sensor delete in a drag only car

New to tuning ,my first efi drag car, 302, 5 speed, RPM heads and intake , xe274hr cam , l.tube headers, can I deleate the 02s? i have a Holly wideband to monitior afr, thoughts?

That should be fine, if you disable them in the tune and force open loop to be safe.
1990 Ford Ranger FLH2 conversion. Ford forged/dished pistons, Total Seal file-fit rings, Clevite rod and main bearings, Clevite cam bearings, IHI turbo, Siemens Deka 60lb/hr injectors, Ford slot MAF in custom 3" housing. Moates Quarterhorse with Binary Editor, using the PAAD6 database.

It doesn't really matter whether you disable them or not if you force Open Loop. Only Closed Loop fueling is going to "look" at them during normal runtime.

KOER tests might would still care, but my guess is a dedicated drag car isn't going to be doing a lot of KOER tests.
