Unit Not Working?

Post by Alex in houston » Sun Nov 03, 2002 1:24 pm

I've been diddling around with the twEECer (I picked it
up from Mike on yesterday) all morning. I believe (could be wrong which is why I'm posting) the unit is not functioning properly.
Here's what has been happening:
When first clicking on Calibrator shortcut it pops up a window saying "invalid or unsupported binary image."
When I click "read EEC" I get the same "invalid/unsupported image."
I've tried using Input File/Write Changes and I get "dat file corrupt reload from original"
I tried to get it to "Read EEC" and it popped up
"invalid unsupported binary image" again.
I decided to go to the twEECer site and download a new bin for my computer. I got the T4M0 bin for my car put that into the "input file." Finally got it to show T4M0 in the EEC Processor window on the bottom right.
I look at the values in "in scaler" (the ones I know like injector slope and fan speed) and they look correct and so I decide to try and load that into my twEECer just to be on the safe side (in case it has changed or corrupted something earlier) When I try to "write tweecer" I get failed to verify in the message window.
Either I have not followed the instructions correctly (at least as close as I could. The ones I have are for
the newer USB, could not find any concerning the LPT version I have, but I figure they must be close) or the unit is not functioning properly.
Any and all help concerning this is greatly appreciated
and needed.
