TwEECer is not working!
Now, for some reason, everytime I connect the TwEECer Windows XP says an unknown USB device has been connected, or an USB device has malfunctioned. When I uninstall all of the software and start fresh, when I point windows XP to the driver folder in the STKR folder, it gives me an error saying something about the file doesn't contain any driver information. Any suggestions, anyone? Please!

I did have problem with driver installation when I first received TwEECer. I worked it out somehow and, for the life of me, I can't remember how I fixed it.
Your not alone, if that makes you feel better. This question might get your first "Mike" reply. :-)

I have tried to use it on a couple of different computers
with the same results. The computer no longer recognizes the TwEECer. When I plug in the USB cable it says the the device has malfunctioned and that Windows does not recignize the device. So I can not use CalEdit or Calcon, but the Calibration files already on the TwEECer do still function, and I can still change cal. by turning the knob and turn it off also.
Still hoping to hear from Mike on this one.

you need to read the manual in there it tells you were the driver is for the tweecer and how to install it so your pc will recognize what it is

Well, the Tweecer is definately broken, I reformatted my hard drive, installed Windows XP Pro, and it still doesn't work, same issues as before. So Mike, what can we do about getting this thing fixed?
I got my fingers crossed, Daren.

It worked with the Win XP home edition but on the Pro it was crap. I know in our office XP Pro has been a big hassle.

I have not been following the whole issue, but I had a similar issue with a Micron laptop. The problem was in the drivers for the particular USB drivers. Maybe the issue that you are experiencing is not with the Tweecer or the Operating system itself, but maybe the drivers for the particular PC that you are using. Try using a second PC that is not made by the same vendor. Just a thought.

It doesn't look to be software. When loading the drivers on my Win2K desktop the PC blue screened with the TwEECer attached. I went to my laptop running Win98 that I do all my tuning with and it wouldn't even recognize the TwEECer. I'm sending it to Mike today.
