Anyone order a fan controller from dcc

Post by Jamlx1 » Mon Sep 26, 2011 5:27 pm

Was wondering if anyone has ordered a fan controller from Brian Baskin at DCC.
Courious on how long it may have taken you to receive your order.
I ordered on Aug. 14th, sent an email to him around Sept 12th and haven't
Heard anything back and still haven't received the controller.

Any input would be great to hear.
Thanks, Jamie

I got one from him....it's been a couple years ago. I can't recall how long it took but I believe it took a few weeks. As a matter of fact I need to order another temp. probe, mine broke off....

I run one of his controllers too. But again, it's been since 2005 since I bought it. I don't remember it being terribly long to get though. It's still working great.

I'm running the MarkVIII on mine too (Running the flexalite controller for now, until I can get the other temp probe)

I've never heard of anyone NOT getting their order.... it just takes a while sometimes...

I have 2 waiting to be installed, but don't recall how long it took to receive them.

ok, i found their site: http://www.dccontrol.com/introf0.htm

if you just go to dccontrol.com it says the site is down for a redesign.

They list the fk50 and fk85. Think im going to go with the 50. I love the idea of the product, but they really need to work on their customer relations....if i hadnt done some googleing i would have never found their order page. Im kind of leery of ordering...not sure if they are even in business right now. I dont know anyone who has ordered one lately.

i ordered mind middle of august and was delivered to me around end of sept.
from all that i have read about them they are worth the money.
i did the fk85 to run a markviii fan, but the 50 probably would have worked. i always seem to go bigger with things like that.
