just looking for ideas. where are people mounting their tune selector knob and port? i have a usb port on the outside of my glovebox, not too gaudy, but was looking for ideas on where to put the tune selector.
my only ideas were inside the globe box (so nobody can f*k with it while im driving) or on the center console by my right knee.

Re: tune selector knob
You probably wanna put it somewhere where no one can mess with it or see it. It can also be used as a valet switch where you can switch to a tune that rpm limits the car to like 3000 rpm or what not or even as a kill so the car cant be started in case you valet the car or have a crazy girlfriend or park the car on the street and have to worry about knuckleheads trying to take it.....

Re: tune selector knob
i already have a hidden killswitch attached to my blaster coil (fuel but no spark). but a killTUNE(maybe spark and no fuel?) would be some serious over kill. I LIKE IT!

Re: tune selector knob
so i just thought i'd share my tune selector location in case anyone else is looking for ideas.
finally decided to put it by the drivers right knee on the center console.
NOTE: there is alittle protruding cylinder that requires an additional hole to be drilled. this little tab stops the whole knob from spinning and keep the base stationary. you can see that below the knob is alittle hole drilled out, thats where the circle thing is. if your going to do this, DRILL THE HOLE ABOVE THE main hole, NOT like I did. I only realized afterwards that the plastic connector behind the knob was facing the wrong direction.
to drill the second hole, i colored in the raised circle with a sharpie and then quickly placed it into the main hole backwards. this way the sharpie rubbed off onto the outside of the plastic right where the hole should be drilled. you can see in the closeup that theres still black sharpie on the circle and a little smudge i missed when i cleaned it.
