Anything about Ford EEC tuning. TwEECer and Moates questions dominate, but there's some SCT and OBD-II knowledge too.

Help with a Pro-M 77 MAF transfer function

Post by copcar » Fri Jun 01, 2012 8:23 pm

Model: 77mm
S/N: 004785 (the 5 could be a 3 or an 8)
Calibration: CON30 (not quite sure about the N)

It is set up for a cobra processor and 30 lb injectors... I think.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

a stock meter is not calibrated, why not just make your own transfer? check out deciphas 2nd law of dialing in a maf

I am trying to put a tune together for a family members car that is a couple of hours away and I will not have the time to sort it out fully as there is no dyno. Just needing a good base to start with.

no, don't need a dyno, but it would make the limited time I'll have with this car easier. Also, I am setting up a base tune to get started as I am buying him a Tweecer for Father's day. No datalog because no tuning apparatus has been installed yet. Once I've set the car up with a base tune he will begin his fun with tuning.

Cheap and easy. I'm running it and we can discuss tunes using the magic of the internet.

correct you are, i suppose thats cheaper than buying a qh/be but its not worth it imo, you can do so much more with the BE definition file and the qh

meh, not very sophisticated combinations. easy to tune. The car runs great as it is. This will give him something fun to do/learn.

strippers are fun to do/learn as well and the cheaper one probably isnt going to do what the more expensive and newer one will

same applies

True enough but I'm rather familiar with this old skank and although she may be a little rough around the edges, long in the tooth and have a few bugs all the important parts still work just fine.

I'm still waiting on a properly good stand alone to pop out. Any ideas? 8)
