Is there a BE 2013 in the works?

Post by MeanMussy » Sun Sep 02, 2012 2:27 pm

It looks like this might be the year I finally get my car up and working. I have a TwEECer, and the "fabulous" software that comes with it. It works fine to get my initial tune pushed, but once the data collection starts, I know I'll need to upgrade.

Given that I'll have to pay full price for the software again if the next version comes out tomorrow, I figured I'd see if there is a new version in the works and when it will be available before I purchase BE 2012.

I looked at the EEC Analyzer site and did a quick search here, but didn't come up with anything. So, is there a BE2013 coming and when?

Thx.

2013 has not started but when it does the big feature will be all 2005 and newer vehicles. I am not sure what i will add to 2012 other than the bug and or small enhancement fixes.

Any estimate of ETA? I could use something that comes in *under* budget on this little project.

it will use any compliant J2534 cable. So far the Drew Tech Mongoose is the one i have used along with the McS1

other companies make the J2534 cable. It is a SAE standard. The problem is everyone makes them a little bit different. They are supposed to follow the SAE standard in order to call it J2534 compliant. We all know how that goes.

So far i have tested the McS1 and the Mongoose. The Tatrix does not work yet but they are supposed to be working on it.
