Datalogging procedure for 1.30AX
Originally written by Jon 94GT, modifed for 1.30AX by SHO NUT
Note: This FAQ assumes that you have a working and installed TwEECer on your car and that you are using CalCon/CalEdit v1.30A7 or newer.
1) Connect the USB cable from the TwEECer to your computer.
2) Startup CalEdit.
3) Click the tab labeled "Utilities" at the top
4) The top right of the screen contains the various variables you may datalog (you may select up to 16). Select (check) the items you would like to datalog.
5) Click "Payload". The checkmarks will dissapear, confirming that the payload has been written. If you select ‘Save’ first, you will be prompted for a payload name, and this will be saved for future use.
6) Check the box labeled "Data Logging" which is at the bottom of the screen.
7) Turn the key in the ignition to the ON position and wait 5 seconds (so windows can have time to load the USB driver to talk to the TwEECer).
8.) Click "Write TwEECer".
* wait for CalEdit to write the binary and payload to the TwEECer *
9) Verify that the fans are not running or the fuel pump is not on (with the key on, engine off). If they are, then cycle the key and verify a normal startup sequence (fuel pump turns off after the key is turned on before starting).
10) Startup CalCon (You do not need to close CalEdit, unlike previous versions of CalCon/CalEdit). Note that you can use the CalCon button in CalEdit to open CalCon.
11) Verify that the TwEECer RT green light on the lower right corner is lit.
12) Click the tab at the top called "Dashboard" or "Digital" (doesn't matter which, just pick whichever display is preferable to you).
13) Check the box context labeled "Log to file" in the top middle to the right of the red Logging Button, if you want to save the log for future review. If you don’t want to save it, don’t check the Log to File box.
14) Start the car.
15) Click the red button context labeled "Start Logging". The Data green light should light up and ….
The gauges in the display should now spring to life showing you the various items you selected in your custom payload. If it does not, or very strange values show up, please make sure the connection with the J3 port on the EEC is clean, and that you followed the steps above correctly.
One other "NOTE"
When using Calcon 1.30Ax to datalog please build the payloads with the 1.30Ax version of the software. Do not use existing payloads from 1.20B3. And vice versa.

Did you read the Getting Started PDF file that comes with 1.30Axx?? It (and the readme on the About Tab) list the strategy vs year/models and your 99 uses minimum 2 banks. If you only write 1 bank to your tweecer your fan and pump will come on and stay on.
Best regards,

You should be able to open the .rtf files with WordPad (Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> WordPad).
Also, the .pdf file mentioned is named GS.pdf -- it is in the installation directory of the CalEdit software -- default of C:\Program Files\STKR 1.30A\
Hope this helps...

I was able to datalog and I can playback the log, but I don't see how to use the plotting tab. There is nothing to select in the Field List or fields for graph boxes.
I am using caleditv1.30a9 and calcon v1.0a7. CBAZA Strategy on my supercharged 94 gt.
I don't have a wideband, but the A/F ratio shown on the digital dispaly never gets above 2? Ideas?
Thanks,
Kelly
