Signed up about a month or so ago. Been doing lots of reading. Figured it was time to introduce myself. My Name is Wes. I'm 27, and I've been into and around cars all my life. Been a blue oval fan since birth. I live in Sunny (most of the time) SW Florida. I have an 86' Notch mustang that I bought as a pretty much bare rolling chassis about 6 or so years ago. I started a ground up build/restoration almost exactly three years ago. I've done 99% of all the work myself. I rebuilt/modded the motor myself. It's a 5.0 bored 30 over to a 306 out of my dad's 93 hatch. Other motor mods include Ford Racing X303 camshaft. Milled cast iron stock heads with oversize 1.95 and 1.55 stainless valves. and HD dual valvesprings and solid retainers. Stock bottom end with ARP rod bolts. KB 10.5:1 High comp pistons. BBK SSI intake and 75mm TB. "Budget" Flowtech Long tube headers with BBK Off road X-pipe and Flowmaster 40's. Running a Tremec 3550 trans w/ a Ram powergrip clutch and FR aluminum drive shaft. For rear end its a Stock-ish 28 spline 8.8 with a Ford trac lock for now with 3.73's. Fully welded the axle tubes to the diff housing. Running Sn95/99 GT Brakes/5 lug set up. I've had a QH for a while, Just was looking for the software that was user friendly enough. Then I found this forum and BE and jumped in. I'm liking it so far. Getting used to the interface and the in's and out's of the software and getting ready to start tuning real soon.
86 Notch w/ 92lx drivetrain: SBF 306, Aprox 10.5:1 CR, Procharger P1SC (9lbs) Ford racing X-Cam, Stock iron heads with 195/155 stainless valves,HD springs and retainers, BBK SSI intake w/ Billet rails and AFPR, 75mm TB, Flowtech long tubes, T-rex booster pump, 30# injectors 3" Pro M MAF, Tremec 3550 trans, FR aluminum Drive shaft, 8.8" rear with Track Lok and 3.73 gears. Innovate LC-1, A9L Ecu with QH.

welcome to the forum, always nice to see new members and have a little background
what kind of power is your jewel making?
i recommend buying aftermarket heads instead of reworking the stockers unless its a requirement in your class, long term you'll come out ahead, the heads are the largest restriction on a stock sbf, changing them alone and doing nothing else usually results in a pretty significant increase in output
do you have meth injection? if not i'd recommend it, alcohol injection systems is what i use, hard to beat there prices, id guesstimate a 10gph nozzle would be good for your setup

I was told by someone that the same engine and drivetrain setup with stock heads and stock headers made 480ish hp in my dad's hatch. Never saw a dyno sheet and took those #'s with a grain of salt.
I got those heads from some one local to me for $300. They'll do for now. I'd like to go to an aftermarket set of heads when i can afford it.
I'm not running meth injection, I've done some reading on it and does seem to offer some great benefits for not a whole lot of money. I'll definitely look into purchasing a meth setup.
Thanks for the welcome. I grabbed your A9L2 base tune file and have been looking through it and using it to get acquainted with BE and EA.
