Need ProM 80mm Transfer Curve

Post by yeastieBoB » Wed Mar 12, 2014 12:48 pm

Hello all. New member here. Also new to tuning. Trying to find a ProM 80mm transfer curve. Haven't been able to get ProM on the phone and they haven't returned my message. One was posted here (viewtopic.php?f=2&t=19097&p=102616&hili ... er#p102616) but the attachment is no longer available.

I can use the ProM-30 curve that's in EA, but I was hoping to find something straight from ProM. Anyone have anything?

i frequent here as well so you can post here too

without knowing anymore info about the meter its impossible to come up with a transfer

if i had to guess pro-m has probably made over 25 different 80mm mafs

need to know

calibration size - 30lb for example
calibration vehicle - mustang
calibration model - cobra or gt ?
calibration year - 94-95 ?

Thank you for the help. Sorry for my late reply, I did not check the "notify me of replies" box.

I finally got ahold of Pro-M. $200 to have my meter recalibrated, function tested and get a 30 point transfer curve. :/

Thanks for the URL Bunso, I've bookmarked that site now and will check it out.

Jeddy2 I appreciate you posting your curve. I will take a look and see how ours differ.

Decipha any help is much appreciated. The information from the meter shows it is a model 80R. The previous owner called it a "80mm shorty." The SN is 994800 and the calibration shows 30C.

I think the C on the calibration means cold air. The MAF was originally in the fender, but I moved it back to the stock location. The coating on the inside of the intake tube (from MAF to TB) that came with the car was flaking off and I couldn't find a replacement to mount it back in the fender.

for $200 you could have gotten a slot meter

i hope they included a flow sheet with said recalibration

I chose not to spend the $200. That's why I was here begging for a transfer curve. lol

I will probably just replace it with the PMAS HPX slot style MAF.

You can just use a stock Ford slot maf in a 3.5" housing.

Thanks, if I can find one I might try that. I have a long list of stuff to try to find next time I'm at the junk yard.
