Just a friendly hello from Las Vegas!!

Post by SRI3850341 » Mon Apr 14, 2014 8:22 pm

Going to venture forth and leave my dyno tuner behind, After multiple pulls and a car that still "bucks", I'm filing for divorce from my tuner.. $200.00 bux everytime I sneeze a part... Doing alot of reading here and doing a "test" post.. I'm kinda needy guys, so go easy on me, lol :)..... Quarterhorse and BE / Analyzer is on its way...
Edit: theres no "introduction" Forum??

most bucking issues are attributed to idle air and dashpot not being dialed in

welcome to the forum

btw, any reputable tuner will stand behind their work, any "tuner" that charges you to fix a tune they didnt dial in properly is not only unprofessional but its obvious where their priorities are, thats not someone you want to deal with IMO. Glad to hear your taking the plunge and doing it yourself.

His justification, valid or not was the installation of new injectors, to wit he told me I needed the last time when it got strapped down and my 39's where at 95% duty cycle and told me he wouldn't finalize tune without new injectors, told him got the injectors, told me $200.00, So i'll just do it my damn self ;)
