Electric fan controls using HUG0 computer?
Has anyone ever tried to control an electric fan relay using a HUG0 or 94-95 F150 computer?
I'm wondering if the drivers are there, and what pin or pins they would be on. Thanks in advance.

If it's worth doing, it's probably not easy.

I can check later, but I don't recall there being anything at all in the 94-95 F-150 MAF strats (AHACB) for electric fan control.

Do you have a copy of the Ford strategy doc? I can turn on a fan in the tune, just like the A9L computers. I just don't know if the drivers are in the hardware, or what pins they are on.
The strategy seems very much like the CBAZA strategy to me.

isnt hug0 the cbaz0 strat?
Sailorbob has a complete def for it hes done the full disassembly he can tell you if the software will support it correctly (which it should) you would need his full def to try it though and see if the fans come on, check the pinout listing for the pin it should be the same as cbaza if its what im thinkin

I had the HUG0 eec in my truck before I swapped it with a W4H0 "I'm guessing your truck has the 4R70W trans?" anyways if I'm not mistaken
pins 55 and 32 on the mustang are high and low speed fan..... same pins on the HUG0 go to transmission controls one of them is the O/D light off other i cant remember.

Re: Electric fan controls using HUG0 computer?
Yes, the truck has a 4R70W I believe. The strategy seems almost identical to CBAZA. I am unfamiliar with the pinout of the trucks.
The strategy has electric fan control in place. I can switch it on. The question is really this: are there actual drivers in the computer? For lo and hi? And what pins are they. If anyone has a pinout of a HUG0 truck, that would be helpful. The 94-95 Mustang has pin 55 as the Low fan output, and pin 32 as the High fan output.
A wiring diagram would be helpful for a HUG0 truck. And a strategy document for CBAZ0 or CBAZA, that would be helpful.
Somebody else mentioned AHACB strategy? I just noticed that SCT shows HUG0 as a CBAZ0.

Hope I'm allowed to post this here... This is what our trucks have MAF with 4R70W

Top left is the pins for the transmission unfortunately not very descriptive.
I do know that the mustang EEC calls for pins 32 high speed fan and 55 is low speed fan.. On our truck one of those pins is actually the O/D off light just not sure what pin.

Re: Electric fan controls using HUG0 computer?
Interesting, I looked up a 95 F150 MAF/4R70W diagram today on motologic, and it showed the injector circuit as batch fire. There were only 2 wires that fired 8 injectors. Also interesting was the fact they fired the outer 4 and the inner 4, not bank to bank, and not seemingly tied to firing order.
The diagram you show has sequential injection. What exactly is that diagram from? And does it represent any particular computer?

Re: Electric fan controls using HUG0 computer?
This is the diagram I used when I went from the HUG0 to a W4H0.
when I swapped the W4H0 from a 95 mustang in I had to add a second HEGO and move the O/D off light cause every time it called for fan that damn light would come on.
The batch fired ones where the speed density If I'm not mistaken they where primarily 5.8 motors with a E40D trans.
Also according to the diagram only pins not being used in the HUG0 is 23 43 45 and 54. but take that with a grain of salt.
