Lightning C3P2 scalar hex address locations

Post by bobwhite » Mon Dec 08, 2014 12:12 pm

does anyone know the hex addresses of the scalars LAMRICH, LAMRHYS, HLDTIM, HEGO IDLE, TIME OL, XAPT, or CIBETA (and CIBETA multiplier)? I am using STKR 1.30 with a TwEECer RT on a Gen 1 Lightning C3P2 bin and need a few more scalars so I can hex edit them to do what I need to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

that's the LHBL0 strategy

you would be much happier if you just got the COMPLETE definition file from sailorbob only $25, it would require you buy BE too which is kinda pricey $200

I know. That's $225 that's not in my budget. Need a wideband too. I mainly need LAMRICH and HLDTIM, the others would be nice also. Just need a little info. Decipha , I would be able to try tuning fuel with your "Forced Closed Loop" method using the stock narrowband hego and observing KAMRF, since my truck is norm aspirated and just slightly modified. Thanks

you can go about it using other methods you don't have to use those exact scalars

send me over your tune and i'll take a look

hmm, looks like LHBL0 & LHBH1 are the same?

So can you make your own def file equivalents for CalCon now? That used to be all encrypted.

mpaton, I hexedit PIDs, etc. not included in caledit, in a virgin C3P2.bin, and then install it in caledit and complete the tune. ender11, I think LHBL0 and LHBL1 are similar, but not perfectly identical. the address of some PIDs are probably the same. LAMRICH & others could be in the same address in both. Any info you or anyone else could provide, or could direct me to about LHBL1 & LHBL0 would be very helpful. Thanks

ender11, I have a copy of C3P21st.txt & .dir & .jc & LHBH1 def started by SVOJOHN along with C3P21st.txt & C3P2.msg produced by the S.A.D. disass'y program by TVRFAN. I have found a few scalars by studying the disass'y & LHBH1.pdf strat doc, but I haven't been able to find the scalars mentioned in my original post, yet. Need more knowledge & experience. I'm a gearhead. The partial def started by SVOJOHN doesn't have the scalars I'm interested in. The disass'y fromSVOJOHN & TVRFAN's S.A.D. probably need more breaking down, but that is beyond me at this point in time. Thanks

found a couple of useful scalars. AFECT1 is at address $ac50, 83*2=166degF. AFECT2 is at address $ac51, 105*2=210degF. Both scalars are 1 byte. both addresses are for a 56k C3P2 binfile.

Returning to LHBH1: there is wonderful combination of mpg and power fuel and spark tables, switched on timer VS vechicle speed. and MPG tables are all AFR=1. and there comes some questions: can it handle higher AFR when cruising? solution for everyday street driving? what are safe margins for catalyst equipped vechicle? I considering exhaust gas temp sensor unit.

sorry for a stupid question, but are those definitions only available for BE users, and can't be viewed apart from BE, say, in old good excel?

That's right BE only.

thru some good mentoring & help i know LAMRICH is at $9479 and is $73=115/128*14.64=13.15 AFR and LAMRHYS is at $947A and is $03=3/128*14.64=.34 AFR, for a 56K bin. i found PIPOUT at $94A2=4 pips, and TP_HYS_OL at $946C and is $03C0 word=960/12,800=.075 volts. i have been able to safely achieve Forced Closed Loop and should be able to tweec the fuel curve via VE table, using the OEM narrowband HEGO.
