Hi all,
Im still pretty new to the world of tuning.I recently acquired a 2004 mach 1 with a 70mm On3Performance turbo kit on it . When I purchase the car it was somewhat dissembled. The previous owner thought the motor was blown so he started to disassemble it. After buying the car I determined that the motor was still good so I started putting it back together. The previous owner said that the car ran great, but he took it to a tuner to try to squeeze a little more power out of it.After picking the car up and loading it on a trailer he gets home and trys to drive the car and it ran terrible. I suspect the tune to be the culprit. One of the first things I purchased for the car was a Quarterhorse,BE,and EEC analyzer. So I'm trying to tune the car,but the problem is that there is not alot of info on tuning the Mach 1 EEC. The box code on the EEC says SYM2 but the strategy is RYAK1.The guy from CoreTuning told me that someone must have done a strategy swap somewhere down the line. My set up is a 9.1:1 compression forged bottom end ,stock Mach 1 heads with a light port and polish job, stock cams, return style fuel system with terminator fuel hat and two Walboro 255 lph pumps, 80lb injectors,90mm SCT BA3000 maf The transmission is a stock Mach 1 auto with full manual valve body with trans brake and a 3400 stall.I'm told the car ran on 8lbs of boost .Oh yeah the turbo is a .68 AR.Can someone please help me with my tune? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: sym2 RYAK1
I can't open the .beb file BE gives me an error 61 saying index is outside the bounds of the array and errors out
you can download the blank 4 bank xls and read the tune from the ecu as a .bin file and post it otherwise nobody will probably be able to help you

I should have some data logs to post soon. I would love to get some input . This is all new to me . Ive built a few cars but never any tuning.
Re: sym2 RYAK1
Can you please tell me how to transfer my tune to this 4 bank template. I've tried everything I could think of.

Re: sym2 RYAK1
open this strategy file with BE then read the tune out the car, save it as a .bin file and post it
Re: sym2 RYAK1
I'll try it this afternoon. Thank you so much for your help.
Re: sym2 RYAK1
When I try to save it the only option I get is "save as beb incripted file" . Nothing ive done seems to work after many many hours of failed attempts. Can someone maybe do a TeamViewer session with me and shoe me what im doing wrong. This had been a major setback for me. Any help would be greatly apriceated.
Re: sym2 RYAK1
O okay. So since its not a open source strategy I will not be able to post it because it is encrypted. Is that correct?
