So, I am working out the bugs on my Novi 2k build on the 96 Cobra. Got it running pretty good, but was not getting the boost I expected, due to belt slip. Was only getting 5-6 psi.
Fixed the belt slip problem and now getting ~10psi. But since, I stopped the belt slip, it misfires/breaks up badly about 5900. At this RPM, I am getting 4.7-4.8 MAF volts. Wondering if I am hitting the max on the MAF? Bought it used, supposed to be a SCT BA5000. Running it in a 3" tube, blow through. Tube is a nice 3" straight section about 11" long, with MAF right in the middle.
When the misfire happens MTX-L goes lean (14:1) but I am wondering if that is a "false" because of the misfire (raw fuel) I tweaked the MAF curve to be more rich and it still misfires about the same RPM (maybe 100-200 rpm higher).
It was OK at 5psi and not happy at 10 psi.
Possible thoughts?

i don't know what happened to my reply but yes its pegged, definitely not the meter you thought it was
4.6 mafv is the safe limit, anymore than that and its time to go bigger
