When I connect my tweecer (not RT model) to eec it makes the fuel pump and elec fan run constantly. The computer cant find it.
1. Ground eec metal casing down so tweecer would fit farther on.
2. Made nylon spacers to move connecter back from eec.
3. Cleaned J3 port connector with razor blade, then eraser, then rubbing alchohol. Today I scotchbrited it until the J3 connectors started to turn a copper color.
What am I doing wrong?

I experienced that symptom when I had the tweecer's five position switch set to a position that doesn't have a calibration flashed yet.
It is position five that disables Tweecer. Position five is all the way to the right.
To get started, read the eec, save this calibration using CalEdit then flash this calibration to position one. The car should run as it did.
This will get you familiar with the flashing process.
