I'm Back! New Restomod.

Post by ClintD » Sun Aug 21, 2016 7:45 am

It's been a wile since I've had an interesting project to play with, but I picked up a second generation E100 that I plan on powering with a 97 Explorer 5.0, 2000 Mustang 4R7W V6 trans and a SLL4 EEV-V.
You guys will be hearing a lot from me soon!Image

2003 GMC Sierra 3500 6.6 Duramax untouched and used to tow anything I blow up back home.

Well, got the engine bolted in the truck, But I'm going to have to rethink the accessories and belt routing.

Looks like quite the project. You may want to look into the 80s-90s EFI E-series 5.0 Vans to see how their accessories are mounted.

Everything from 1975 and up is totally different, but I might have some luck with a few mix matched brackets.

very nice, I don't think I've ever seen a efi 5.0 in a pre 75 econoline.
I converted a 91 e250 5.0 to mass air from speed density.
last year of the 3g vans.
my built up aod shifts perfect (after 20 tries), but the eec-v will be great for 4r70w trans adjustments.
keep us posted on the progress
