Selling my car and buying a new car/chip
Its been over 5yrs since I even messed with the QuarterHorse on my '95GT. It is time to sell it and I was going to leave the chip in it because it has been reliable so far. My question: I just bought a '93GT from the car lot and it has the TFS top end kit with 24# injectors but OEM MAF. Would the QH clear up the backfire and drive-ability problems? My '95GT had a calibrated MAF, was that really necissary? Also, would my BE license transfer to my new laptop without having to buy it again? I think that I also paid for EEC Editor...
I hope that this is the right place for my question, it is not really a tech queston...

Here is the reply from Clint:
If it were me i would buy a Jaybird and F3v2 chip and flash it with the current tune and then install that into the car. You can then take the QH with you to the new car.
Yes if you sell the laptop then you will need to purchase a new license for the new laptop

Get a usb key license instead of soft key license. Then you can use your be and ea license on different computers.

Clint might be saying if you sell your old laptop WITH BE and EA still installed, then you need a new license for the new one.
Might be worth asking if you can remove from the old one and 'transfer' the license to the new one. Thought that was something in the past he could do.
