Injector Flow Testing

Post by nevolution » Sat Mar 11, 2017 7:44 pm

I'm looking for a recommendation for an injector cleaning service (or anyone with an injector flow bench) who will also measure flow vs pulsewidth at multiple pressures and multiple voltages.

If no one is out there doing this already, I may just need to build a flowbench...

I guess I'm going to build an injector mapping rig. I may as well flow some MAF sensors, too.

Anyone interested in having some injectors mapped?

There's a service somewhere here in the Atlanta area called Fuel Injector Connection. They have an injector flow bench (2 in fact) that I took my injectors to to ensure they all worked and flowed what they were supposed to. Being they were used, I had doubts. Having them flowed gave me more confidence in them. And I was there watching while they were running the tests so I could ask all kinds of questions. So I would recommend them to anyone looking for injector flow testing.

Thanks cgrey8; those guys are just down the street from where I work. I'll have to swing in there and chat with them next week.

Their setup is in a shop that's behind one of the owner's house. So if you actually go to their facility, it's in a residential neighborhood, or at least it was when I went. The shop was toward the back yard. IIRC, there were 2-3 rooms in the shop building, one of which was the flow test room where the flow benches were.

I found them from their Youtube videos of them doing flow bench testing of various injectors and realized they were relatively local to me. So I looked them up. They may have upgraded and/or moved since then. That was 12 years ago so I'm recalling dated info.
