Forum missing posts?
Am I mistaken or is the forum missing posts? I've noticed some things are missing replys and it looks like others have been split or posts deleted?

Re: Forum missing posts?
I know John was doing work on the forum a week or so ago. He didn't tell me if something happened that caused him to have to revert and thus loose anything. From what I understand, all he was doing was making a copy, not trying to restore/repair anything.
As for admin-level modifications of this type, I haven't been deleting anything other than posts that "deserved" deleting that I know nobody would miss. For example, we had a ranter about 2 weeks ago that was posting his frustrations with product support. There was nothing useful in anything he was saying and at first, I thought he was just blowing off steam in a single thread. It was clear he got into DIY tuning without fully realizing that it's not "easy" or a quick way to avoid paying a tuner. I was going to let it slide but then I realized he was continuing his rants in replies to posts that had nothing to do with what he was complaining about thus polluting other people's posts. So I deleted all of his posts and banned him from the site for ranting which I'm sure didn't improve his mood. But this site isn't an outlet for people's frustrations...particularly when they are aimed at the very people trying to help.
But other than that, I haven't deleted anything in quite a while.

I have been deleting your uninformative and useless posts/redirects if that is what you're referring to which I did explain myself to you clearly why I was doing so when deleting them. If you have an issue with it or want to discuss it further you can PM me.
