computer. Here's the specs for the laptop compaq presario 1610

Have you tried to open it with Microsoft Excel?

I don't have the answer to your specific question except to state the two versions of CalCon do not have compatible log files. Mike has a conversion in development and I expect it to be integral to the 1.2 release.

The installation program for Tweecer allows you to select where on your harddrive to install the software. You can easily have both versions of Tweecer installed in different locations that way you can review older logs.

If you have a copy of LogAnalyst, it supports both the newer and older CalCon log files. It might be your most convenient way to view any of your logs.

If you don't have LogAnalyst, you can download it here:

Here’s what’s going on.

I did have the newer version of calcon on my laptop and I had an error. Which I then found out that I couldn’t use an older version log file with the newer version calcon. So then I uninstalled all of the newer calcon and reinstalled the older version of calcon. Well now I’m getting this error saying calcon cannot open the file.

I have the older version on my home pc and I have no problem using calcon and viewing log files. I just don’t see why my laptop is having this problem.

I don’t even have my tweecer yet I was just trying to get the laptop up to the task of running this program for tweecer like I did my home pc.

I'm very new to all of this any help will be great.

Thanks

I just put this program on the laptop and it will open the file and let me look at it.

Now what does that mean?

Thanks

Well, for one it means the file isn't currupt and you will still be able to read it. I think Calcon is just having trouble with it, its seems to be a little finicky at times.
