Anything about Ford EEC tuning. TwEECer and Moates questions dominate, but there's some SCT and OBD-II knowledge too.

thanks i finally got it to idle without the tweecer. i had to wobble out my holes on the tps a littler bigger so i could set my idle at 850rpm and be able to turn it under 1v. when its warmed up its idling. i stuck the tweecer on it and it doesnt want to start when the motor is warm. wtf?

EFIpunk thanks i havent put your tune in yet going to do it right now see if it makes a difference :)

Make sure you have the Datalog checked at the bottom of CalEdit before writing to the TwEECer.

My lambse is never right to what is in the tables, but my wideband is showing my tune is working great. I wrote my tune sitting at my desk at the office and it is really close to being dead on. I still need to get it on a Dyno to finish it but it has been fun sliding around on the neighborhood streets today.

i'm really having problems today. ok i went to go start my car today and i noticed it was kinda running like shit. had to keep on the gas to keep it running to pull out the garage then it killed. so i thought i ran out of gas..which i probably did. so i went and got more gas and filled up 5 gallons in it and turned the key and the fuel pump wasnt turning on.... so i put a different fuel pump relay on it and the fuel pump turned on but it doesnt want to turn off!! and the car doesnt want to start. while the fuel pump is staying on... under the hood u can hear like air or fuel or something flowing under there and its pretty loud. i dont know what the hell it is! i think its flooded out from the fuel pump staying on while the key is turning on and pump keeps pumping but i dont smell too much fuel. i try to crank it and it doesnt even want to even try to start it just keeps turning over. i am getting fire also. i pulled one of my plugs out to see if it was wet and it wasnt..but that was just one. u think one of my injectors is stuck open or something or maybe the fuel pressure regulator is out? im confused. this is the 3rd time i ran out of gas in it just having it running in the shop fooling with stuff and trying to tune it. i know that isnt good for the pump. any ideas?

even with the tweecer pulled out and it running on stock ecu it still does this. thing was running just fine 2 days ago..

nope it just keeps turning over doesnt even try to start...going to see if my injectors are even pulsing..if not might be a bad ignition module ??

well i just put a test light on one of the injector plugs and i am not getting a pulse at all. i switched ignition modules with another guy with a msd distibutor and still no injector pulse. I also checked it with a mulitmeter and i am getting no voltage to injector plugs at all and no voltage at all to the tps sensor with the key on... ecu toast?
