Got a new/used Tweecr no USB-it has parallel???
Just got our second Tweecer in the family, mine is a USB, my son got his used-it has a parallel connector. Any special software to get it to work? I had no idea you could get a parallel Tweecer...

Download and install the BDE and CESetup onto the pc, no need for the BDE if you already have it installed. CESetup is the LPT version of the software and we stopped making the LPT units almost 2 years ago.

What is the PS2 cable on the tweecer for?93notch wrote:Download and install the BDE and CESetup onto the pc, no need for the BDE if you already have it installed. CESetup is the LPT version of the software and we stopped making the LPT units almost 2 years ago.
Is it for a 'switch box' to choose programs? If so do I NEED it to make the tweecer work?
I bought it used and all I got was the tweecer, with the power connector, and the parallel and PS2 cables coming out of the black box. I didn't get a 'switch box' with the unit.
If I need one could I make it myself? or would I be better off upgrading the tweecer?

OK, I'm fairly sure the PS2 cable is for the 5 position switch.
Do I NEED this switch for the tweecer to work? (will it work as a 1 program unit without the switch?)
Does anyone have a diagram so that I could make the switch myself?
Can I buy a switch from somewhere?

It's with a C3P2 94 Lightning computer if that matters....
I read that with out the switch it defaults to position 1.
I agree that the mini din (ps2-style) is the switch. The parallel is definetly for tweecing. You should be able to buy these parts from the company (Mike Glover).

Dd you download the latest software (1.20B) from the tweecer website ?
I will email you a lhbl0.dat file that you will need. Overwrite the file from the 1.20B3 installation program.
