Unable to open Tweecer DRIVER QUESTION

Post by ckb95stang » Wed Jul 23, 2003 2:09 pm

When I try to read EEC it gives me the message unable to open tweecer
I do not think that the driver is installed but I cannot figure out how to do it. When I pull up New hadware wizard it is not listed in things that have not been installed and it is not listed in things that have been installed. When i try and direct it to the folder to install the driver it gives me a message saying that there is no information in the specified file. PLEASE HELP

Do you have the key turned on when your attempting to read the TwEECer?

The key has to be in the on position to be able to read it if not.

You can only read the EEC if the Tweecer is connected to the PCM.

you can read the twEECer on your desktop without a ECU attached. To read the EEC they have to all be connected either the twEECer and ECU on your desk, or both in the car and the key on.

I am having this problem as well. Are you saying after you download all the software all you need to do is hook the desktop to the twEECer RT and the EEC and start logging in the information you want? PLEASE someone give me an anwer to this....I am having problems with this driver intsallation as well. If you look in my other posts it is popping up some windows that are NOT on the manual. Help please.

Thanks,
Ed Stettin
