Number of Banks?
I finally got my car to run with the tweecer using the ZXA3 binary. However I would like to start out with my stock settings wich is a ZXA4 computer in a manual 97GT. When reading the eec I choose two banks since this is what I have learned my computer has from reading these forums and the yahoo group. Out of curiosity, I reread the eec choosing each bank selection (1,2,3,4) to see what I would get. I have 4 binaries the first one with a 1 bank read gave me a file 44 kb. 2 banks gave me a file 82 kb. and 3 and 4 gave me two files both 83 kb. If I am supposed to be using the file with the 2 bank read, then what is the extra 1 kb when reading the 3rd and 4th bank. By the way, when viewing these files in the scalar tab the 1 bank read gave me garbage as expected. The 2,3,and 4 bank reads gave me the same info in the scalars and all seemed to make sense. None will load on the tweecer!

Send me the ZXA4 2 bank read that you have and I will compare it against the other 2 ZXA4 reads that I have. When I get your email, I will send you one of them if I find anything funky.
When you read banks 3 and 4 it returns all 0xFF (hex) which compresses into a very small footprint.
