QH not syncing with BE

Well i got it all hooked up tonite got my laptop hooked up pluged in the usb cable then i had to get online and download the usb drivers which i did but when i hook it all up and try to send the new info to it, it says it is but i dont think it does b.c the car wont start or anything like the problem was before... and on the led lights at the bottom of BE how many are supposed to be lit up?

I am a newb here, but when you say the car won't start like before. Do you mean the car would not run with the factory EEC? If this is the case, I don't think that the QH is at fault, and you may want to unistall it and get the car running first. That way you know if you install it and it won't run then it is in the QH. Just my 2 cents. If the car was running before, it is going to take some one else.

car hasnt ran since i installed my vortech A trim, ford 42 injectors, LMAF, comp cam, and all fuel supporting mods.... i bought the QH to tune it...so problem is still there....

If it were my car, I would uninstall the QH. Then I would try to get it runnning. Do you have spark and fuel? Check those first.

it starts and idles but then dies... it does has spark and fuel... you have to tune a car if you run a LMAF

Ohh ok. Well then it may very well be in the QH, which I cannot help as I am doing research and trying to figure out exactly what I am going to have to sell to get one. G/L though. I will read on to see what the problem turns out to be.

i just think its not reading the QH because its not showing what version QH it is in the Hardware section of BE and i only get 1 green LED at the bottom outta the 3

Any luck with this one? I have a 99 GT that works with the stock eec-v but will not work with the QH. I believe it has to do with the security system known as PATS(Passive Anti-Theft Security) or SECURLOCK. My security light goes off like crazy, no odometer digits only dashes, the fan runs and the vehicle simpley will not crank. Do you anve a PATS system on your car? There are 4 types A,B,C and D. A and D don't seem to have a problem. The B and C systems do. I have a C PATS system.

No my car is a 94 it starts up and will idle for a sec then die, which is what it's been doing since I put supercharger and cam in it... Car ran strong before that and was told it's because I need to tune my car because I have a LMAF on it now

Or if anyone can write me a base tune or help me as much as possible to start with and email it to me...

Mods are:

Ford 42# injectors, LMAF, ford e cam, vortech a trim, trickflow upper/lower,holley 255 forced Induction Intank pump, paxton boost refrence fpr, egr and smog delete, longtube headers, slp catback no cats,

problem solved! Thanks Clint!! by the way if you are forced induction DONT download the forced induction template it doesnt work it kills your car and have to start over i learned this tonite and now i think i killed my ignition control module
